Felix Jaehn

Felix was born in Hamburg (Germany) in 1994. He is a well-known DJ and producer. His remixes are described as quite atmospheric music in pop-oriented deep-house style. In his childhood, he learnt how to play violin. When a teenager, he became very much interested in producing remixes as a DJ. He moved to London at the age of 17 since he needed to attend lessons at Point Black Music College.

He presented to the public his debut single entitled “Sommer am Meer” 2 years later, in 2013. He rose to fame when the remix of “Cheerleader” single (by OMI) was released. It became a hit that was included in the TOPs of the musical charts in the US and lots of countries across all Europe.

The same year he presented to the public two more singles: “Shine” and “Dance with Me”. In order to produce the singles he worked in collaboration with Freddy Verano, Linying and Thallie Ann Seenyen.

In April 2015, one more internationally popular remix of the song followed. He mixed the song of Rufus and Chaka Khan entitled “Ain’t Nobody” with that of Jasmine Thompson (“Ain’t Nobody Loves Me Better). To be more exact, he used the vocals of Jasmine in the cover made by Rufus and Chaka Khan. The song was included in the TOP of the German Singles chart and was broadcast on a regular basis on the radio stations across all the rest Europe. One more single entitled “Eagle Eyes” was released the same year.

He is currently working in collaboration with the Universal Music label.

2015 was also the year when he made a decision to start his own project called “Eff”. He invited Mark Froster to take part in it as a vocalist while he himself is responsible for DJing. Soon after the single of the project called “Stimme” was presented to the public, it gained high positions in the musical charts of Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
